The service we have set up is specifically designed to allow you to obtain the care you need within our practice avoiding the use of referrals so treatment can be completed promptly and professionally minimising the impact on your everyday life.
Many patients often assume that all forms of oral surgery are carried out by our colleagues in the hospital service and this is sometimes still the case. However, after engaging with our patients it was clear many of you would prefer to be treated in our friendly, family orientated practice where you were used to being seen. With that in mind we have developed our practice to allow us to offer not only complex extractions including wisdom teeth but also buried root removal and the surgical procedures associated with implant placement.
We are in the fortunate position to have a visiting colleague who runs clinics specifically to complete oral surgery procedures. You can rest assured that our surgeries have state of the art contemporary facilities including a bespoke ventilation system to allow us to follow all the appropriate infection control and covid 19 protocols mandated by the NHS.
We recognise and understand that many forms of dentistry create nervousness amongst our patients so we have introduced a sedation service for those of you for whom attending the practice causes significant anxiety. We are always available to talk to you and explain everything we do and how we can best meet your needs.
